  • Confirmation Class

    7th Grade and older youth are welcome to join in a two year process to become confirmed and join as members of Grace United Methodist Church. Orientation Sept. 7th after church, classes begin October 5th at 6pm.

  • New Members

    New member classes are typically offered in the fall or spring. Explore both the ministries of the church and the theology of the United Methodist Church. These two classes will help you discover the purpose and meaning for membership, as well as your own connection with the church. Fall ‘26.

  • The Secret of Life

    Socrates’ famous maxim is to live “the examined life,” but what might this look like through a Christian lens? The Apostle Paul offers a richer understanding of what makes life meaningful. Fall ‘26 October 5, 12, 19, 26.

  • Voices of Advent: The Bible's Insights for a Season of Hope

    Voices of Advent: The Bible’s Insights for a Season of Hope is a four-week seasonal study written by Matthew L. Skinner and published by Abingdon Press. It guides readers through scripture to explore how different biblical perspectives inspire hope and shape our preparation for Christmas. Winter ‘26 December 1, 8, 15, 22.

  • The Last Supper: Conversations That led to the Cross

    The Last Supper: Conversations That Led to the Cross is a six-week Lenten book and study by retired United Methodist Bishop and Duke professor Will Willimon. It explores the parables and stories Jesus told around tables on his journey to Jerusalem, connecting radical hospitality and mercy to the final meal and Christ's sacrifice. Spring ‘27 Feb 15, 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22.

  • Disciple Bible Study

    Disciple Fast Track, an adaptation of the original, bestselling Disciple Bible Study, provides a viable option for busy people seeking comprehensive engagement over time with the entire biblical text. Continues September 13th, 7pm

    Dealing with life after the death of a spouse leads to all kinds of questions about heaven and what it means to live faithfully in this life.

Pastor Brian also provides a variety of pastoral services, including weddings and funerals. Fees for these services are set in consultation with the pastor, so contact him directly for details. Others services, such as baptisms, membership and confirmation, pastoral visits and pastoral counseling are all free and are done by appointment with the pastor.
