Christmas Letter
November, 2025
To the congregation of Grace United Methodist Church,
In the final paragraph of this newsletter, we will hear from our new Pastor of Family Ministries, Nyasha Jeche! Before that, this year the Neville family is doing something special. Recently Pastor Brian heard a few members of the church say how they have been a part of our church for decades and had never stepped foot inside the parsonage before. Well, we want to change that! We are hosting a parsonage open house on the evening of December 14th. We would be delighted if you would come and join us for cookies, cocoa and some Christmas carols. Also, please note that you’ll find the dates for Christmas Eve at the bottom of this page and the full calendar for November and December on the back of this letter. You can also give financially or update your statement of intention in this important season of the year by going online to gumc.org/giving. And now a few words from our new pastor, Nyasha Jeche!
———————————
As the joyful season of Christmas draws near, we are reminded once again of the wonder of God’s love made flesh in Christ through the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In my Zimbabwean context, this is a special time when families and friends gather, homes are filled with the warmth of shared meals, and laughter echoes through our communities. We treasure these moments of togetherness, gratitude, and reflection on God’s abundant grace. As we reflect on God’s greatest gift to us, may our hearts be filled with peace, hope, and the true joy of Christmas. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and meaningful holiday season!!
Blessings,
Pastor Nyasha
