Grace United Methodist Church Worship Events

The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) is observed on the first Sunday of each month

We have a First Wednesday Chapel Service/Bible study at 12 noon on the
First Wednesday of each month Sept through June, followed by a luncheon.
(We are currently studying the Book of Acts.)

Ash Wednesday Communion Services are at noon and 7:30 pm

The weekly noontime Lenten Services every Wednesday in Lent
(also followed by a luncheon).

Holy Thursday Communion Services at noon and 8 pm, with the 8 pm service including
a re-enactment of the Last Supper

A Good Friday Service of the Tenebrae (diminishing light) in the chapel at 8 pm

We Confirm young people on the first Sunday of June (we have 17 in the class of 2009)

A summer Sunday Hymn Sing

Founder’s Day on the last Sunday of July each year featuring a sermon from a pastor or associate who had served Grace in the past or who entered ministry from Grace

Christmas Eve Services:
Children’s services at 3 and 5 pm (at which the children participate in a living nativity)
Candlelight Services at 9 and 11 pm
